About these terms
These terms apply when you use a Victorsteel online service.
This website is operated by VICTORSTEEL GROUP AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, referred to here as Victorsteel, we, us or our. These terms apply to website browsing, enquiries, quote requests and orders placed through the online shop.
By using the website or submitting an online order, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by law. If anything about a product, configuration, pickup or delivery requirement is unclear, contact us before placing the order.
Products, descriptions and pricing
The selected configuration determines the product supplied.
Online-shop prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where the website states that GST is included. Product pages show the available size, thickness, length, quantity and service options. Images help identify a product but colour, finish and scale can appear differently on a screen.
Please review the selected variant and order summary before payment. A cart does not reserve stock. If we identify a material product, availability or pricing error after an order is submitted, we will contact you to agree the appropriate correction, alternative or refund in accordance with applicable law.
Orders, customer details and payment
Accurate information helps us verify and fulfil an order.
You are responsible for reviewing the cart, contact details, delivery address and special-work instructions before continuing to payment. The server verifies catalogue prices and calculated delivery charges rather than relying on totals supplied by the browser.
Payment is completed on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Victorsteel does not receive or store your full payment-card number. After Stripe confirms payment, we issue an order confirmation using the details provided and may contact you if fulfilment information needs to be confirmed.
Pickup, delivery and delivery credits
Choose the fulfilment method displayed during checkout.
Factory pickup is free where shown. Wait for pickup confirmation before attending the factory. If you choose delivery, enter and confirm an Australian delivery address and calculate a current quote before payment. Changing the address can require a new quote. Any delivery timing discussed with you is subject to the final order and delivery arrangements.
Product and configured-service subtotals over $1,000 qualify for up to $50 off the verified delivery charge. Subtotals over $2,000 qualify for up to $100 off. The credit is limited to the delivery charge, has no cash value, does not apply to pickup and is recalculated by the server at checkout.
Special work and cut instructions
Measurements and instructions must be clear before work begins.
Where a product offers cut-to-size or other special work, the applicable service fee and instructions form part of the configured cart line. You are responsible for checking measurements, units, quantities and wording. We may contact you to clarify an instruction before fulfilment. Do not include payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information in an instruction field.
Google address and route services
Address suggestions are optional and do not replace your review.
When you use delivery address suggestions, partial address text and a random autocomplete session identifier are sent to Google Places. Selecting a suggestion sends the place identifier to Google to retrieve address details. The confirmed address is sent to Google Routes only when you request a delivery quote. You can dismiss suggestions and enter or correct the address manually.
Google suggestions and route data are provided as an aid and do not by themselves confirm that an address is complete, accessible or eligible for delivery. You must review the address shown at checkout. Google Maps content is displayed with required attribution and is subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms and Google Privacy Policy. Victorsteel does not persist address-search text or suggestion content; returned place identifiers are held in short-lived server memory only to verify the customer's current selection.
Acceptable website use
Use the website lawfully and without disrupting it.
You must not attempt to bypass checkout validation, misuse payment or delivery-quote functions, introduce malicious code, obtain unauthorised access, overload the service, or use automated activity that interferes with customers or normal website operation. Website availability can be affected by maintenance, networks and third-party services.
Privacy and consumer rights
Your statutory rights are not excluded by these terms.
Our Privacy & Data Use Notice explains how personal information is handled for enquiries, orders, payment, address suggestions and delivery quotes. Third-party services and external links can also be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under the Australian Consumer Law. If a mandatory right conflicts with these terms, that mandatory right applies.
Changes and contact
The current terms and effective date are published here.
We may update these terms when the website, online-shop functions, providers or business practices change. The version that applies to an order is the version published when that order is placed.
